Love-Hate

I have a love-hate relationship with the rain.  Why, you ask?  Well…let me tell ya.

Love – this is probably more obvious.  Rain means water.  Water means puddles and mud.  Puddles and mud equal fun and coolness.  And I smell all great and everything.  In the rain, no one can yell at me for getting wet or dirty.  It just happens.  It’s great.

Hate – Rain means wet.  Mummy doesn’t like cold wet.  So my walks by her are shorter cause she has recently been sick and doesn’t want to get sick again.  I think if it was warmer she wouldn’t mind so much, but in this cold she doesn’t like it.

Love – since we don’t go on as long walks, mummy plays a lot with me inside.  We do the ball chasey game and we wrestle.  She loves to cuddle with me on the couch.  And I get a whole lot more rubbies.  I love rubbies.

Hate – I get shoved out into the back garden.  And there aren’t any puddles or mud cause of that fake grass stuff.  It sucks.

So you see.  There’s lots to love and hate about the rain.

I don’t know about this love-hate relationship. It’s pure HATE for me and rain! Mommy and Daddy like to count the number of times I shake off during a walk in the rain. I get this whole depressed look and refuse to poop!

Also, Mommy hates the rain because an old wound on my ear opens from all of my vigorous shaking and I splatter blood all over the house. Personally I think it adds a little color to the walls 🙂

Sniffs,
Payton
